PROCEEDINGS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />ftN CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />UNAPHOVED Special Meeting <br />September 19, 1984 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy, 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />--------------------------------------------------------••------------------ <br />The Mounds View Planning Commission was called to <br />order by Chairman Mountin at 7:35 p.m. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Quick, Anderson, <br />Lauterbach, Miller, Forslund and Chairman Mounti.n. <br />It was noted that Commissioner Sargent had an <br />exused absence. Commissioner Warren was also <br />absent. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Public Works/Community Development <br />Director Thatcher. <br />Commissioner Forslund inquired why the developer <br />did not make a deposit with the City for the hiring <br />of David Licht, the City's planning consultant. <br />The developer stated that the Planning Commission <br />agreed to a presentation by Holiday's planner and <br />that hiring David Licht would have given the City <br />money to review the Comprehensive Plan and zonir.g. <br />Commissioner Forslund requested studies of the <br />following: <br />1) Site utilization <br />2) Traffic stacking on Highway 10 and <br />Silver Lake Road <br />3) Peak hour traffic <br />4) Noise, emmissions and odor <br />Commissioner Miller inquired as to how the traffic <br />from Kinder Care affects the Holiday traffic. <br />Motion/Second: Anderson/Forslund to adopt Resolution <br />No. 122-84. <br />1 aye 5 nays <br />Lauterbach: The developer does not adhere to <br />the spirit and intent of the Comp <br />Plan. <br />Millers The developer does not meet Comp Plan <br />requirements. <br />1.
