For example, the Police Department is currently <br />investigating a computerized records keeping system that will <br />only operate on one manufacturer's computer system. Parks, Recreation and Forestry - The major goal of the Parks, <br />Recreation and Forestry Department is to develop a <br />comprehensive and balanced system of parks, open space, <br />trails, and leisure oriented programs for all residents of <br />Mounds View in as economic a manner as possible. Tha four <br />elements necessary to accomplish this goal and the objectives <br />of each element are as follows: <br />1. Recreation Programs <br />The overriding recreation objectives is a continuing <br />enrichment and growth through leisure education and <br />recreational opportunities for all City residents. <br />y, Forestry Program <br />The primary objective of the forestry program is to <br />preserve and supplement the existing floral canopy in <br />Mounds View and provide additional support services <br />` relative to plants, shrubbery and shade trees for all <br />enjoyment and education of the City's residents. <br />
