TO: Mayor & Council <br />6-MM: Finance Director -Treasurer Brager <br />DATE: November 21, 1984 <br />RE: 1985 CAPITAL BUDGET <br />The Proposed 1985 Capital Budget was presented during <br />budget hearings in September. At that time Council advised <br />staff that the 1985 Capital Budget should not be considered <br />until after adoption of the 1985 Long Term Financial Plan. <br />Should the 1985 Long Term Financial Plan be adopted at <br />it's second reading on November 26, 1984 the 1985 Capital <br />Budget could be considered. A proposed resolution adopting <br />that budget is attached for your consideration. If the 1985 <br />Capital Budget is adopted, Resolutions 1836 & 1837 (attached) <br />transferring monies to the General Fund from the Special <br />Projects Fund and the Silver Lake Woods Construction Fund <br />should also be adopted as the 1985 Capital Budget is <br />predicated upon those transfers being made. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Should Council desire to adopt the 1985 Capital Budget <br />the following resolutions should be presented and adopted: <br />Resolution 1835 - RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1985 <br />CAPITAL BUDGET <br />Resolution 1836 - RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXPEND- <br />ITURE OF FUNDS OF THE SPECIAL <br />PROJECTS Fund <br />Resolution 1837 - RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE. TRANSFER <br />OF PROCEEDS FROM THE. SILVER LAKE MOODS <br />CONSTRUCTION FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND <br />FOR 1985 STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECTS <br />
