RESOLUTION No. 1833 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 1710 ESTABLISHING A <br />COMMUNITY ENERGY COUNCIL AND PARTICIPATION IN THE <br />GOVERNOR'S COMMUNITY ENERGY PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has been advised by <br />the Minnesota Department of Energy and Economic Development <br />that representatives from various community sectors are <br />required to be included in the membership of the Mounds View <br />Energy Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the original Resolution No. 1710 <br />Establishing the Energy Council encouraged but did not <br />require representation from various community sectors; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Mounds View <br />to comply with the requirements of the Minnesota Department <br />of Energy and Economic Development in order to receive a <br />Community Energy Council Grant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View that Resolution No. 1710 <br />Establishing A Community Energy Council and Participation in <br />the Governor's Community Energy Program is amended as <br />follows: <br />Subdivision 4. COMPOSITION: The Council shall be <br />composed of a Chairperson and seven members all of whom <br />shall be appointed and serve as set forth in Subdivision 5. <br />Subdivision 5. REPRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS: Energy <br />Council members shall be representative of the community's <br />population.
