PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />November 13, 1984 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />----------------------------2401 Hwy, 10, Mounds View, MN 5.5112 <br />The Mounds View Cityy Council was called to order by <br />Mayor McCarty at 7 FM on November 13, 1984. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said, <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Doty, <br />n e, n ner and Mayor McCarty, <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/Admini- <br />strator au ey and Public Works/Community Development <br />Director Thatcher. <br />.4otion/Second: 'Linke/Blanchard to approve the October <br />7 m mutes as corrected, <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Linke to approve the <br />ovem er _984 ,;,i;�sL. as presented. <br />4 ayes 0 nays 1 abstention <br />Jean Miller, 2291 Hillview Road, presented copies of <br />a letter the Concerned Citizens had received from <br />the Governor, in response to a letter they had sent <br />him on the airport issue. <br />Robert Beutel, 2555 Ridge Lane, chairman of the <br />Energy Commission, gave a brief summary of the newly <br />workshopsed commission stated <br />onNovember 27and Decewould b <br />mberl,and oare npush- <br />ing for complete participation. He also informed the <br />Council of a condition of the State that the commission <br />'.nclude a representative of the senior citizens and <br />one from organized labor. He explained there is only <br />one vacancy on the commission and requested the <br />Council increase the membership by one. <br />Call to Order <br />Pledge of <br />Allegiance <br />Roll Call <br />4.
