Report of� <br />property located south of County Road I and east Public WO <br />of Quincy, behind the Pinewood School, which has Community <br />been forfeited for taxes, and Staff would recommend Development <br />the City obtain it, at no cost, and keep it for Director <br />public purposes. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Quick to accept property <br />156-040-01 at no expense to the City, for <br />public use. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Attorney Karney had no report. 9. Report of <br />Attorney <br />Councilmember Quick had no report, 10. Reports of <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Blanchard asked Staff to review <br />the City's laws regarding the use of three wheel <br />vehicles within the City, and recommended they <br />compare it with New Brighton's, for compatibility. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported the Festivities <br />Commission would be meeting on January 15 at 7 PM <br />to begin discussing plans for the Festival in the <br />Park, which is scheduled for July 14. <br />Councilmember Hankner asked the status of a study <br />the Council had asked for, on the impact of <br />Chapter 40 requirements to the City. <br />Director Thatcher replied he would be ready to <br />give a verbal report to the Council at the next <br />agenda session. <br />Mayor Links asked for Council approval on his <br />recommendations for appointments to commissions <br />in the City. <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Quick to reappoint Peg <br />go—u—n—trn--an-TU,osey Warren to the Planning <br />Commission, with Mrs. Mountin to be chairman, <br />and reappoint Wayne Burmeister and Cindy <br />Wermager to the Parks and Rec Commission, and <br />Lowell Uber to the Police Civil Service <br />Commission, and Robert Beutel and Russell <br />Warren to the Energy Commission, and advertise <br />For the vacancy on the Planning Commission, and <br />two vacancies on the Festivities Commission, <br />to fill the spots of Pat Coffey and Lisa Wester- <br />hausen, who do not wish to be reappointed, <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
