_J CPyJU L)
MEMO TO: Clerk -Administrator and City Council
FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Development
DATE: January 15, 1984
SUBJECT: ROSENQUIST ADDITION - OUTLOT A
k59-64000-010-03
Attached please find a copy of my correspondence to Marri Gillen
of the Office of Land Commission, County of Ramsey, dated
December 26, 1984 and their response which we received on January
15, 1985. Also find attached a location map of Outlot A and a
plat map of Outlot A. They indicated that the City could
purchase the land without any strings attached for $60.00. This
cost includes the $10.00 deed fee.
Attorney Meyers indicated that the purchase of this lot for
$60.00 without any strings attached is acceptable.
RECOMMENDATION: The City should consider purchasing this land.
If the land is purchased, the City could do one of two things:
1) Hold the land so that someone does not purchase an
unbuildable lot.
2) Sell the lot to the property owner to the east so
that he can subdivide the combined property
and create a buildable lot.
SWT/bc
Attachments
