Roll Call <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/Admini- <br />strator au ey and Public Works/Community Development <br />Director Thatcher. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Hankner to approve the January <br />ITS minutes <br />4. Approval of <br />as presented. <br />Minutes: <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />January 14,1985 <br />Motion Carried <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, reported on a <br />hearing he had attended on January 17 <br />5. Residents <br />at the <br />Lexington City Council meeting, regarding the <br />Anoka County Airport, He <br />Requests and <br />Comments from <br />asked the Council to <br />support the same position as the City of Lexington, <br />in <br />the Floor <br />opposition to the airport improvements. <br />Mayor Links replied the Council has supported the <br />cities of Spring Lake Park <br />and Circle Pines who <br />have passed resolutions in opposition to the <br />expansion. <br />Debbie Hennen, 2275 Groberg, presented a petition <br />from apartment residents, requesting that the no - <br />parking signs be removed, prohibiting parking between <br />midnight and 6 AM, to allow the apartment residents <br />more room to park. She stated the apartment owner <br />is willing to move the fence back to allow more room <br />for parking, if the restriction is lifted. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley replied the Council will <br />be discussing the parking issue at their February 11 <br />meeting, in an informational boar!ng and recommended <br />discussing this particular request at that time. <br />
