In my opinion <br />After rotating each Officer through the position, I felt the <br />Department needs could be better obtained by making a permanent <br />appointment. <br />In the month of January, the Mounds View Civil Service Commission <br />conducted elnvestigatore Thepose Of to the <br />testingpromotinincluded anwritten officerand oral <br />position of <br />. Consideration was also given to application makeup, <br />examination <br />employment record, commendation and awards and attendance record. <br />On January 22, 1985, the Civil Service Commission advised me that <br />Officer Jack Chambers obtained the highest score and that they <br />I uldvrec omfortablehis pwithttheirtrecamnethe ndation,of Investigator. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />I recommend that the City Council authorize the appointment of <br />Jack Chambers to the permanent position of Police Investigator. <br />
