Call to Order Mayor Links at 7:31 PM on January 28, 1985. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. 2. Pledge of Allegiance MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Quick, Blanchard, 3. Roll Call Hankner and Mayor Linke. ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/Admini- slrato— auey and Public Works/Community Development Director Thatcher. *lotion/Seoond: Quick/Hankner to approve the January 4. Approval of 127 1585minutes as presented. Minutes: January 14,1985 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, reported on a 5. Residents hearing he had attended on January 17 at the Requests and Lexington City Council meeting, regarding the Comments from Anoka County Airport. He asked the Council to the Floor support the same position as the City of Lexington, in opposition to the airport improvements. Mayor Links replied the Council has supported the cities of Spring Lake Park and Circle Pines who have passed resolutions in opposition to t!ie expansion. Debbie Hennen, 2275 Grober;, presented a petition from apartment residents, requesting that the no - parking signs be removed, prohibiting parking, between midnight and 6 AM, to allow the apartment residents more room to park. She stated the apartment owner is willing to move the fence back to allow more room for parking, if the restriction is lifted. Clerk/Administrator Pauley replied the Council will be discussing the parking issue at their February 11 meeting, in an informational hearing and recommended discussing this particular request at that time.
