A portion of this land is not suitable for development <br />due to poor soil conditions. The majority of the vacant land is zoned <br />industrial. <br />Residential Patterns <br />Single family homes dominate the pattern of lard useoge with 39% of the <br />total land area. Much of the residential development occurred prior to <br />1960 (60%). New construction which has occurred in recent years, has <br />been on vacant lots scattered throughout the City. <br />48 <br />
