� I <br />r <br />I <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION REVISING NEW WATER CONNECTION CONTRIBUTION <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 70.01 of the Municipal Code calls for the <br />establishment of a trunk, source and storage contribution for new <br />water connections by resolution of the City Council; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View that whenever a new water connection is <br />constructed, the owner shall pay to the Municipality a trunk, <br />source and storage contribution detailed as follows: <br />property zoned R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4 and R-5 shall pay a contribu- <br />tion of $200 per dwelling unit. <br />In the case of other than residentially zoned property, the <br />contribution shall be the larger of the following: <br />1) $800 per acre <br />2) $200 per 36,000 gallons of water used per quarter <br />The property owner shall provide a water usage estimate for <br />approval by the City Engineer. If the gallons of water used <br />during any quarter of the first two (2) years of water usage <br />exceeds the estimate approved by the City Engineer, the fee <br />will be adjusted upward. The City shall not lower the fee <br />if the water usage is less than the estimate. <br />Adopted this day of , 1985. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Mayor <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
