RESOLUTION NO. 187E <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICY FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OF <br />BUSINESS RELATED MEAT. EXPENSE <br />WHEREAS, it is recognized that in the normal course <br />of the performance of City business, members of the City <br />Staff will be required to attend meetings requiring the <br />payment of meal related costs for themselves and others; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to <br />establish a policy for the reimbursement of such legitimate <br />business expenses. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of the City of Mounds View establishing the following policy <br />for the reimbursement of business related meal expenses. <br />Department Heads of the City of Mounds <br />View and their subordinates, when <br />authorized by the Department Head to <br />incur such expense, will be reimbursed <br />by the City for the cost of legitimate <br />business related meal expenses, that is <br />when a business meeting is necessary or <br />desireable and City related business is <br />discussed. Eligible expenses shall be <br />limited to the cost of the meal(s), <br />alcoholic beverages for individuals who <br />are not City employees, non-alcoholic <br />beverages for City employees, and a <br />maximum 15% tip. <br />Adopted this 1st day of April, 1985. <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor` <br />(SEAL) <br />Clerk -Administrator <br />
