ORDINANCE' NO. 390 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING DEVELOPMENT OF CMR'rAIN PROPERTIES <br />ON AN INTERIM BASIS <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: <br />1.01 Purpose and Interpretation <br />(1) The City of Mounds View is presently under— <br />taking an update of portions of the city's <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />The City anticipated land use applications <br />concerning land development which could have a <br />significant impact on the City's Long Range Plan <br />with regard to land use and zoning. The City <br />Council has determined that a study of portions <br />of the Comprehensive Plan is desireable in order <br />to evaluate development proposals. <br />(2) Development of certain portions of I:he City <br />l during the interim period could be detrimental <br />1 and contrary to the study now being considered. <br />1.02 Restriction On Development <br />Pursuant to M.S. 462.355, Subdivision 4, and to <br />procect the planning process and the health, safety, <br />and welfare of the citizens of the City no rezoning, <br />conditional or special use permits, variances, plats, <br />or subdivisions of privata lands, or othor authority <br />for new or eldditional building development, in the <br />areas described in 2.01 shall be permitted during the <br />interim period. <br />2.01 Restricted Area of Interim Moratorium <br />All property with frontage on T.H. LO lying within <br />Planning Districts 6 and 12 in the City of Mounds View <br />as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated <br />by reference in this ordinance are hereby defined as <br />the properties controlled herein. <br />2.02 Duration of Interim Ordinance <br />This ordinance shall be in force for six (f,) months <br />from its effective date, unless renew,)d or repealed. <br />
