-7- <br />Subdivision 9 Consum lion and Possession After Cancel a- <br />tion. Any person lawfully purchasing beer from the organ- <br />ization prior to cancellation of the permit may lawfully <br />possess and consume such beer in the park for a period of <br />30 minutes following such cancellation. Thereafter, pos- <br />session or consumption of beer in the park is illegal. <br />The police department take reasonable steps to notify <br />those present in the park of such time limit but failure <br />to give such notice to a particular individual shall not <br />constitute a defense by such individual to any charge <br />arising out of such illegal possession or consumption. <br />Before any individual may he charged under this <br />subdivision, he shall be informed that <br />his <br />sopportunion or <br />to <br />consumption is illegal and be given <br />surrender the beer in his possession.
