TO: Mayor 6 Council <br />k�ZFROM: Finance Director <br />DATE: May 7, 1985 <br />RE: APPOINTMENT OF JULIE GLINES AS A REGULAR PART-TIME EMPLOYEE <br />6 SALARY CONSIDERATION <br />Julie Glines has successfully completed the six month probationary <br />period required by the City Code. Julie has proven herself to be <br />qualified for the position of Accounting Clerk and is a dependable <br />employee. I recommend Julie be appointed a regular part time employee. <br />When Julie was hired she was told she would receive salary consider- <br />ation at three and six months and annually thereafter. At three <br />months she was given a $0.25 per hour increase. I am now recommend- <br />ing an additional $0.25 per hour increase which would increase her <br />hourly rate from $5.75 to $6.00 per hour. $6.00 per hour was budget- <br />ed for 1985. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />1) Adopt Resolution No. 1892 Approving the appointment of <br />Julie Glines as a regular part-time employee. <br />2) Adopt a motion authorizing that Julie Glines' hourly rate be <br />set at $6.00 per hour effective May 6, 1985. <br />DB/ds <br />cc: Mary Tatarel: <br />
