Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />---------------------------------------------- <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed proposed Ordinance <br />No. 388. <br />Motion/Second: Haake/Blanchard to have the second <br />reading adoption of Ordinance No. 388, an <br />ordinance amending Chapter 48 of the Mounds View <br />municipal code entitled, "Wetland Zoning Ordinance", <br />and waive the reading. <br />Councilmember Blanchard - aye <br />Councilmember Haake - aye <br />Councilmember Quick - aye <br />Mayor Linke - aye <br />Director Thatcher had no report. <br />May 13, 1985 <br />Page Four <br />---------------- <br />15. Report of <br />Public Works/ <br />Community <br />Development <br />Director <br />City Attorney Meyers updated the Council on the status 17. Report of <br />of support from the League of Municipalities regarding Attorney <br />District 6 and 12 review, and their amecus brief. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. 18. Reports of <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Haake requested that staff contact St. <br />Paul Water Works regarding maintenance of the south <br />shore of Spring Lake where car parking has become a <br />problem. Also, Councilmember Haake asked staff to <br />determine if something would be done to reduce the amount <br />of truck traffic on County Road I west of Silver Like Road. <br />Councilmember Haake asked the status of an accessory <br />building going in by Silver Lake Road and County Road <br />H, since the other accessory buildings have not yet <br />been removed. <br />Director Thatcher replied it was the Wardin home, at <br />6940 Silver Lake Road that Councilmember Haake had <br />mentioned. He stated that they will be removing the <br />other accessory buildings as soon as the new one is <br />ready. <br />Mr. Wardin was present and updated the Council on the <br />progress of their project. He stated he would be <br />removing the other buildings once he was able to <br />move his belongings into the new building and have <br />it weather tight. <br />Councilmember Quick stated he had worked at the annual <br />Clean -Up Day and found it very interesting. <br />Mayor Linke reported he also had worked at Clean -Up <br />Day. <br />
