MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: CLERK -ADMINISTRATOR <br />DATE: MAY 28, 1985 <br />SUBJECT: PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA CITIES' <br />CONSTITUTION <br />Attached please find a memorandum from League of Minnesota <br />Cities' Executive Director Don Slater regarding proposed <br />amendments to the League's constitution. <br />As you may recall, I was a member of the constitution committee <br />which promulgated these amendments and would recommend that the <br />Council take a position in support of these amendments. However, <br />should Mayor Linke not be present at the League's Annual Business <br />Meeting I will be voting on the City's behalf and would request <br />your direction as to the position of the City with respect to <br />these proposed constitutional amendments. <br />DFP/mjs <br />Attachment: <br />0 <br />
