MEMO TO: Planning Commission <br />FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Developmenk <br />DATE: July 9, 1985 T <br />SUBJECT: JAMES BOYLES VARIANCE REQUEST (2840 OAKWOOD DRIVE) • <br />Attached please find the following: <br />1, Planning Application dated June 27, 1985. <br />2. Three pages of supplimental data givi <br />variance request. ng the reasons for his <br />Mr. Boyles wants to build an accessory building 6 inches from his <br />property line. <br />City Code Chapter 40.10, Subd, C (2)b, states that accessory <br />buildings shall not exceed 15 feet in height and shall be <br />more from all lots lines of adjoining lots which are <br />district and shall be 6 feet or 5 feet <br />11 <br />structures on the same lot, more from any other buildingsor <br />The adjoining lots are zoned R-1, Single Family Residential. <br />Therefore, according to the City Code, the accessory <br />be at least 5 feet from the property line.
