Mounds View City Council March 10, 2025 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br />Mr. Meyer commented on the mountain of dirt that had been created at Ardan Pond. He expressed <br />concern with the work that was being done noting the project area currently looks terrible. <br /> <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 10068, Approving a Chicken-Keeping <br />License for Shelly Rosene, 2809 County Road H2. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the City Council approve a chicken-keeping license for <br />Shelly Rosene at 2809 County Road H2. He reported all necessary paperwork and fees have been <br />submitted to the City and staff recommends approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom opened the public hearing at 6:22 p.m. <br /> <br />Shelly Rosene, 2809 County Road H2, thanked the City for considering her request. She explained <br />she would like to have eight hens on her property. <br /> <br />Hearing no further public input, Mayor Lindstrom closed the public hearing at 6:23 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10068, <br />Approving a Chicken-Keeping License for Shelly Rosene, 2809 County Road H2. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Second Reading and Adoption Ordinances 1026 through 1033: <br />1) Ordinance 1026, Chapter 10 - Penalty List <br />2) Ordinance 1027, Chapter 33 - Police Advisory Commission <br />3) Ordinance 1028, Chapter 71 - Truck Definition/Parking <br />4) Ordinance 1029, Chapter 90 - Honeybees <br />5) Ordinance 1030, Chapter 91 – Weeds/RV <br />6) Ordinance 1031, Chapter 118 - Cigarette Background Check <br />7) Ordinance 1032, Chapter 120 - Mobile Food Vehicle <br />8) Ordinance 1033, Chapter 160 - Home Occupations <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the second reading for these <br />ordinances, noting the Council heard the first reading at the February 24, 2025 City Council <br />meeting. He explained the Council would have to approve each Ordinance individually as a roll <br />call vote was required. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance <br />1026, Chapter 10 - Penalty List directing staff to publish an ordinance summary. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Clark/Gunn/Meehlhause/Smith/Lindstrom. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark.
