ORDINANCE NO. 1034 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE, TITLE IX: <br /> GENERAL REGULATIONS; CHAPTER 90: ANIMALS AND ANIMAL CONTROL; <br /> SECTIONS 90.002 DEFINITIONS, 90.003 DOGS, 90.004 PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES, <br /> AND 90.005 RAISING, KEEPING DOMESTIC OR FARM ANIMALS <br /> THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title IX, General <br /> Regulations; Chapter 90: Animals and Animal Control, Section 90.002 Definitions, by <br /> inserting the underlined language and removing the she„ language as follows: <br /> DOG KENNEL. Any premises where dogs are bred, trained or boarded; or any <br /> premises where five or more dogs over six months of age are owned, kept or <br /> harbored. <br /> (1) COMMco�. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title IX, <br /> General Regulations; Chapter 90: Animals and Animal Control, Section 90.003 Dogs, by <br /> inserting the underlined language and removing the skee language as follows: <br /> § 90.003 DOGS. <br /> (A) Dog at large prohibited. A dog owner violates this section if his or her dog is at large. <br /> (B) Howling and barking. A dog owner violates this section if the dog which, by frequent <br /> and habitual howling, yelping, barking or otherwise, causes annoyance or <br /> disturbance to two or more persons; provided that, the provisions of this section <br /> shall not apply to duly authorized hospitals or clinics conducted for the treatment of <br /> small animals. <br /> (C) Clean up. Any owner or person having the custody or control of any dog shall: <br /> (1) Not permit the dog to be on public property or the property of another without <br /> having in his or her immediate possession a device for the collection and removal of feces <br /> to a proper receptacle; <br />
