MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRATO <br />DATE: AUGUST 13, 1985 <br />SUBJECT: MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FUR MICROFILM <br />READER/PRINTER <br />Attached please find a photocopy of a proposed maintenance <br />agreement between the City of Mounds View and Active Micro- <br />graphics, Inc. in the amount of $1,160 for . twelve-month <br />maintenance agreement or the City's Canon 580 microfilm <br />reader/printer. <br />This item is not included in the 1985 budget, however, as <br />the warranty on this equipment has expired and it is <br />standard Pity practice that equipment of this nature have a <br />maintenance agreement to reduce our potential liabilities, <br />Staff would request Council authorization to enier uil� t:is <br />maintenance agreement and to include a similar amount in the <br />1986 budget. <br />Staff would recommend Council authorize the Clerk -Adminis- <br />trator to enter into a maintenance agreement with Active <br />Micrographics, Inc. for the City's Canon 580 Reader/Printer <br />with VISCU in the amount of $1,160. <br />DFP/n1s <br />Attachment: <br />
