Planning application dated August 28, 1985. <br />2. Staff Report dated 9-4-85. <br />3. Letter from Ackerson Building Corporation dated <br />August 27, 1985. <br />4. Electric Equipment Services Corporation Statement cf <br />Operatiors. <br />5. Electric Equipment Services Corporation Synopsis of <br />Hazardous Waste Activity. <br />6. Mounds View Planning Commission Resolution No. <br />147-85. <br />7. Proposed Ci,y Council Resolution No. 1926. <br />Daniel Richmann of Ackerson Building Corporation said that <br />he would provide 8 1/2 x 11 drawings of the site plan <br />to(2a". If the site plan arrives today, I will include it in <br />the packet. Electric Equipment Service Corporation (EESC) <br />is now doing business is a tented facility in the City of <br />Fridley. Some of their work involves transferring <br />,)olycnlorinated bidhenyls (PCB) to approved disposal sites. <br />(No PCB's will be disposed of on this sitq.) PCB'u are <br />reculated by the EPA, the MPCA, and by Ramse Ccunt7. <br />Presently, EESC operates as a temporary storage faciliry, <br />(Storage on site for 10 days meximum) which does not require <br />a license however, Ramsey County rill implement a licensing <br />program in .hi near future. <br />The PCB', are stored in 55 gallon drums inside the building <br />on a concrete floor with a low concrete wall to retain any <br />possible leakage. This storage area is approximately 1,000 <br />square feet of the 10,000 square foot building. A fire <br />sprinkler system per State Law wiil be installed. <br />When a truckload of PCB's has accumulated, it is transported <br />outside of Minnesota for final disposal. Liquid PCB's are <br />burnt and the solid PCB's are placed in an approved <br />landfill. <br />Staff has contacted the MPCA and they do not have any <br />negative comments. <br />
