Call to Order <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on September 9, 1985. <br />The Pledou of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, Quick, <br />Blanchard, Haake and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/Admini- <br />strator Pauley and Public WorKs/Community <br />Development Director Thatcher. <br />Motion/becond: Hankner/Quick to approve the August <br />26, 1985 mirntes as correcteel. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />2. Approval of <br />Minutes: <br />August 26, <br />Motion Carried <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long <br />Lake Road, <br />asked the Council <br />S. Residents <br />tc remove Ordinance No. <br />391 <br />and 392 <br />from the table and <br />Requests and <br />deny <br />them at this time. <br />He <br />expressed <br />displeasure that <br />Comments from <br />they <br />had been discussed <br />a_ a <br />recent <br />agenda ,,ession, <br />the Floor <br />when <br />most residents were <br />not <br />present. <br />Coun.ilmember llankner ,,rplained she ha3 teen the one <br />who made the %ctior, to tabl action cnthe ordinances <br />as she did out feel ttey were acceptable as written, <br />and that tabling action means the Council is worki.ig <br />in it. She added that she did not discuss the <br />o,d+nar.cPs at the la^t agenda session., and she still <br />feels they need a good deal of work done on them. <br />Councilmember Haake pointed out the agenda sessions <br />are public meetings. She added the ordinances are <br />not ready to be brought from the table ct this time, <br />and they will notify the residents when they will be <br />brought oefore the Council. <br />Mayor Linke pointed out the agenda session is open to <br />the public, and all items on the agenda are given to <br />the press for publication. <br />
