148; <br />ring <br />us <br />dget <br />Mounds View City Council September 9, 1985 <br />Regular Meeting Page Seven <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Councilmember Hankner asked Staff to study the organi- <br />zational structures of other police departments and <br />review with the Civil Service Commission. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported the cost on the <br />preoaration of a development district plan would not <br />PvrPerl 57.nnn No rugiovc,i the rP.—irements for <br />establishing a tax increment redevelopment district. <br />Motion/Second: Haake/Blanchard to approve the pre- <br />paration of a development district plan for potential <br />tax increment redevelopment district in area bounded <br />by Highway 10, County Road I and Silver Lake Road, <br />by Holmes and Graven at a cost not to exceed $2,000, <br />with the funds to come from the general fund admini- <br />stration account, reserve for future capital <br />expenditures. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed proposed <br />Resolution No. 1525, and the need for it. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Haake to approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 1925, support:nq federal legislation to <br />exempt local government fion certain requirements <br />of the Fair Labor Standard kct, and waive the <br />reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nay - <br />It was noted there was no one pr"ent to represent <br />the Gayle/Yost addition. <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Quick to remove this iter., <br />from the table. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke stated he did not feel the City should <br />put off action on this any longer, as it has been <br />going on for close to three years. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she was concerned <br />with whether Mr. Sjouin had notified the Gayles <br />and Yosts of the meeting, and stated she would be <br />more comfortable sending them a letter, stating <br />they should appear before the Council, before <br />taking any action. <br />12.
