63.06 <br />63. oh. t,STAHLISHMFNT AND DUTIES OF BUREAU OF FIRE <br />PREVENTION. <br />suhdiviRion 1. F.ntorcemenr, The llniform Fire Code shall <br />be enforced by the HUreau of Fire Prevention in the Fire Depart- <br />ment under contract wiht Mounds View, which is hereby established <br />and which shall he operated under the supervision of the Chief of <br />the Fire Department. <br />Suhdivision 2. Inspectors. The Chief of the Fire <br />Department may detail such members of the Fire Department as <br />members o: he Bureau <br />or rife Ylevr..!-- as <br />..- .^e�iortnrF <br />shall from time to time be. necessary. <br />Subdivision 3. Annual Report. A report of the Bureau of <br />Fire Prevention shall be made annually and transmitted to the <br />Council. (219) <br />Subdivision 4. Fire Inspector. The City shall appoint a <br />fire inspector to handle routlr.e in actions and fire prevention <br />code vio ati ms, including, but not imite to routine <br />inspections or the schools commercial buildings industrialinte fir <br />buildin s and multiple dwelling occupancies. The appo <br />inspector shall be responsible for the enforcement of these <br />routine inspection matters All other matters currently handled <br />b the fire de artment come under the direction of Fire Chief, <br />Shall remain the finction of the Fire Department. <br />63.07. DEFINITIUNS. <br />(1) Wherever the word "Municipality" is used in the Fire <br />Prevention Code, it shall be held to mean Mounds View. <br />(2) Whenever the term "Corporation Counsel" is used in <br />the Fire Prevention Code, it shall be held to mean the <br />City Attorney for Mounds Vies. (219) <br />63.08. ESTABLISHMENT OF LIMITS OF DISTRI:'TS IN WHICH <br />STORAGE OF F[.AMMP.BLE LIJUiDE IN OUTSIDE ABOVd-G2OUNi TAN,(S IS TO <br />BE PROHIBITSU. <br />Subdivision 1. Abr,ve_Ground Tanks. The limits referred <br />to in Section 4SrRg+- Fad 79 of the Uniform Fire Code in whi_h <br />storage of flammable liquids io outside above ground tanks is <br />prohibited, are to be established by the Bureau of Fire creven- <br />ttnn and it shall be designated on a map which shall become a <br />part of this Code. Three copies of said map shall be on file <br />with the Clerk and one copy shall be posted in the office of the <br />Chief of the Fire Department. <br />Subdivision 2. Bulk Plants. The limits referred to in <br />Section 46r604 79 of the Uniform Fire Code, in which new bulk <br />plants for flammable liquids are prohibited, are to be esta- <br />blished by the Bureau of Fire Prevention, shall be designated on <br />a map prepared for such purpose, three copies of which Shall he <br />kept on file with the Clerk's office, and one copy to be posted <br />in the ottilre of the Ch uet of the Fire Department.
