102.05 <br />202.05 Distance Requirements. No person shall operate a <br />snowmobile within 150 feet of a residential shoreline on <br />sanctioned lakes in Ramsey County except at a speed of 15 miles <br />per hour or less for purposes of access to and egress from the <br />lake, or for the purpose of parking such vehicles near the shore- <br />line. <br />2U2.06 Tow Bars. No person shall operate a snowmobile so <br />as to tow any person, sled or other conveyance except by the use <br />of a rigid tow bar attached to the rear of such snowmobile. nis- <br />abled snowmobiles shall be exempt. <br />202.07 Mandatory Lights. No person shall operate a snow- <br />mobile unless such vehicle is equipped with a head light and tail <br />light that are illuminated at all times during such operations. <br />Snowmobiles equipped with an engine of five (5) horsepower or <br />less shall be exempt. <br />202.08 Mandatory Pennant. No person shall operate a <br />snowmobile unless such vehicle is equipped with a red or orange <br />blaze pennant flag of at least forty (40) square inches in area <br />and displayed at a height of not less than five (5) feet above <br />the treadway. <br />202.09 Penalties. Any person who violates any of the <br />provisions of this Ordinance, Minnesota Statutes 84.81 to 84.90, <br />or the Regulations of the-ommiss,oner of Natural Resources N.W. <br />51 to 59, shall be guilty of a mis.iemeanot end-be-punlshed-ly-e <br />f4ne-of-ne!-mere-than-6aGd-ee-by-tmpz4eenment-for- not -met e-tNen-- <br />9J-deyr-ee-belhc- <br />202.10 Repeal. This o-d,-iance upon promulagation repeals <br />all pre-existing regulations ir. force except that scch :egula- <br />tions shall be deemed to be .n f(,rce for the purpose of <br />perfecting any right vested, accrued or arising th_refrort,. <br />2U2.11 Separability. The provisions of this ordinance <br />shall be separable and the invalidity cf any section, paragraph, <br />subdivisinn or other part thereof shall not make void, impair, <br />invalidate or affect the remainder thereof.
