CHARITABLE GAMBLING SURVEY <br />Per Council direction Staff conducted a survey of seven <br />local municipalities regarding charitable gambling in their <br />city. The following is the response received from each <br />municipality. <br />New Brighton - No regulations or restrictions, <br />�wever, They still have not rescinded their <br />previous ordinance regarding charitable gambling. <br />Would like to keep this within local non-profit <br />organizations. <br />Blaine - No regulations or restrictions, <br />would like to stay with local non-profit <br />tiors. <br />Spring LaKe karK - No regulations or restrictions, <br />however, would like to stay with local non-profit <br />uryanizations. <br />No regulations or restrictions. <br />Arden Hills - No regulations or restrictions. <br />North St. Paul - The City attorney for North Sz. <br />has drawn up an ordinance reguiatir.g charitable <br />gambling !n their city. They will forward es soon <br />as it becomes available (still in typing stag2). <br />Shoreview - as of October 22, 1985 Shoreview had <br />notganged their existing ordinance, however, they <br />have set no regulations or restrictions regarding <br />to s matter. <br />
