MEMO TO: Mounds View City Council <br />FROM: Bruce K. Anderson, Director <br />Parks, Recreation and Forestry <br />DATE: December 12, 1985 <br />RE: Park Funding Alternatives Task Force <br />Enclosed is a variety of information regarding the meetings of <br />the Park Funding Alternatives Task Force that was estahlished by <br />the Mounds View City Council. The Task Force has scheduled their <br />last meeting for Thursday, December 12, 1985 at which time they <br />are going to be finalizing a recommendation which will be pre- <br />sented to the Council on Monday evening. A formal written report <br />will be prepared by staff following Thursday evening's meeting <br />and mailed to each of the City 'ouncilmembers regarding their <br />spec ific position. At this time, it appears that they will be <br />recommending that the City Council consider establishing a park <br />referendum on January 21, 1986 in the amount of $1.25 million. <br />There is a variety of information included for your review which <br />C outlines the Task Force process to date and staff will be on hand <br />at mciiday evening's meeting to present the Task Force findings in <br />person. <br />Should you have any questions regarding the enclosed information, <br />feel free to give me a call at 784-3055, ext. 120. <br />ono/eii <br />Enclosure <br />
