We divrds•u•1 thr need for <br />additional buildinq space for storage of vehirlos and <br />reviewed a floor plan of a possible addition. In the <br />process of thinKinq about those addirinnal needs, other <br />ideas were thrown out regardinq possibilities. One of those <br />ideas was a fall -out shelter beneath the new addition. This <br />matter was checked out by Mr. Thatcher and perceived to he <br />n„t advisahlo title to de.lroo ref diffirulty and eiAin for the <br />City. It is the dopdItmoittis plan tr, Iinm• I, laoninl Ih,- <br />improvement, designing basic floor plan and structure detail <br />in which to base costs so that it can be planed in the <br />capital impt.ty--mrnr plan in this yo.,r's hudgoting. <br />Therefore, since we have not met since last fall, the <br />department believes that it would be worth our time and <br />effort one more time to diSruSs the huildinq addition with <br />you to assure that we are meotinq the needs t,f the community <br />for an additional 20-30-50 years with whatever we plan. The <br />main point of discussion should he what you perceive a <br />potential service level rhangps that would require equipment <br />and/fir manpower. Examples could he snowplowing and turf <br />maintenance. <br />None of these items by themselves could cause .a rhange in <br />the basic flour plan that wo have shown yen th, date, huh any <br />number of them could change how we might want tit design the <br />building. <br />1 look forward to discussinq these needs with you. <br />Thank you. <br />SAR/bac <br />
