1 <br />Nark Schultz <br />7691 Groveland Road <br />Mounds View <br />Mounds View City Council, <br />As I am unable to attend the meeting requarding the rezoning of <br />the duplexes on the corner of County Road I and Silver Lake Road <br />I would like to exprNss my objections in this letter. <br />11 The addition of a rental unit usually brings with it large <br />numbers of cars aS evidenced by the two present duplexes. In this <br />case most probably cars will get parked on County Rnad I. This <br />road is heavily traveled and these cars would present a hazard to <br />motorists and to pedestrians trying to walk to the park. As there <br />i, no Sidewd Ix, pedestridnti wuul,I ham to w.ilk No nut in fhe <br />road to get around the cars. <br />?)The area is essentially made up of single family dwellings on <br />large lots. It appears that, the land was zoned for two duplexes <br />becadlie that is what best fit on that land. The squeezing of , <br />another duplex on that land would diminish the appearance of the <br />area. <br />3)The lot has an uniighity water drainage probl m which was not <br />handled adequately at the tim^ of construction. No assurance can <br />be made that these probloms will not continue. <br />Why should the neighborhood residents risk ttese problems when <br />the only gain is the improved finanical condition of an absentee <br />landlord? <br />Sincerely, <br />Mark Schultz <br />
