PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />February 24, 1966 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by 1. Call to Order <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on February 24, 1986. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Quick, Haake, Hankner, <br />Blanchard and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Clerk/Administrator Pauley and Public <br />Works/Community Development Director Thatcher. <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Quick to approve the February <br />10, 1986 minutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Frank Blaciak, 5479 Adams Street, asked the Council's <br />help in controlling the parking problem in his <br />neighborhood. He stated they have had problems with <br />the apartment residents and their guests parking <br />along the street and in front of the homes in the <br />area, and the past weekend someone had parked their <br />vehicle in his driveway while visiting at the apartment <br />building. He stated he had called the police and they <br />called a tow truck but the owner did return for his <br />vehicle before it was towed. Ha added in his case <br />it could present very serious problems as they have a <br />chronically ill child who has had to be rushed to the <br />hospital and his car that night was blocked in the <br />garage by this vehicle. <br />Mayor Linke stated he had received Mr. Blaziak's letter <br />and had discussed it with the Clerk/Administrator, <br />Public Works/Community Deveiopment Lirect�r a;;.: <br />Police Chief, and there are no parking signs posted, <br />f11d they have met in the past with the apartment owners, <br />•ho are not willing to make any improvements to their <br />parking area, as it would involve a cost to them. <br />2.
