American industry <br />continually accumulates large quaouties of excess materi- <br />als and equipment which can be put to immediate use in <br />educational and community service organizations Thaw <br />fee materials are tho result of production overruns, model <br />changes. order cancellations, and discontinued product <br />lines <br />Dona Lldrs of material or property also come from if <br />dtvlduals who wish to contribute to non -profits In a prat <br />tical way <br />NAEIR members have access to an ever -changing variety <br />of free products from industry. Participating NAEIR mem- <br />bers receive an average of $4.200 00 worth of new prod- <br />ucts each year All merchandise is new NAEIR does not <br />accept used equipment and is not part of any surplus <br />program. <br />Most schools and community organizations do not <br />have the additional staff or time needed to find donations <br />on a scale of this magnitude.
