Call to <br />by Mayor Linke at 7:10 PM on March 10, 1986. Order <br />The Pl-dge of Allegiance was said. 2. Pledge of <br />Allegiance <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Haake, Blanchard, 3. Roll Call <br />Quick and Mayor Linke. <br />It was noted Councilmember Hankner was absent. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/Admini- <br />strator Pantev and Public Works/Community Development <br />Director Thatcher. <br />Motion/Second: Haake/Linke to approve the February 4. Approval of <br />24, 1986 minutes as corrected. Minutes: <br />N.arcl, 24, 1986 <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Bill Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, asked if something 5. Residents <br />could be done with the problem of joggers who do not Requests and <br />wear light colored clothing and run in the streets Contheuneotsfrom <br />at dusk, as they are very difficult to see. <br />Floor <br />Mayor Linke replied Staff should put an article in <br />the next newsletter regarding safety. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Haake to approve the consent 6. Approval of <br />agenda, as presented, and waive the reading of the Consent Agenda <br />resolutions. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Motion/Second: Haake/Quick to accept the recommenda- 7. Consideration <br />Lion of the Civil service Commission to promote David of Civil Service <br />Brick to the position of Police Lieutenant and Jerome Commission <br />Johnson and Reed Krogh to the position of Patrol Recommendation <br />Sergeant, effective March 15, 1986. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
