-1- <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL <br />OF GARBAGE, COMBUSTIBLE. AND NON-COMBUSTIBLE <br />RUBBISH IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br />1. DEFINITIONS AND TERMS <br />a. C. "I shall mean the City of Mounds View, Minnesota; <br />City Council shall mean the City Council of the City <br />of Mounds View; Clerk -Administrator shall mean the <br />Clerk -Administrator of the City of Mounds View or <br />his authorized representative; Code shall mean the <br />Mounds View City Code. <br />b. Contractor shall mean any person, or the agent or <br />employee thereof, with whom the City of Mounds View <br />may contract to collect and dispose of garbage, <br />combustible and non-combustible rubbish. <br />c. Dwelling Unit shall mean a residential accommoda- <br />tion including complete kitchen facilities, <br />permanently installed, which is arranged, designed, <br />used or intended for use exclusively as living <br />quarters for one (1) family and not more than an <br />aggregate of two (2) roomers or boarders and has a <br />separate entrance. <br />d. Garbage shall mean crganic refuse resulting from <br />handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of <br />food, including the cans, containers or wrappers <br />wasted along with such material; and decayed and <br />spoiled foods from any source. <br />e. Rubbish nhall mean all wastes which would normally <br />result from the operation of a household except body <br />wastes and garbage, including, but not lim'.ted to: <br />Christmas trees <br />Animal wastes of household pets <br />Ashes <br />Dirt <br />Rocks <br />Household construction materials (not <br />contractor materials) <br />Cement hri._kq <br />Sod <br />Tree trimmings <br />Car parts (no tires) <br />The term "rubbish' shall not include constriction material <br />or other waste or debris resulting from construction or <br />reconstruction of buildings and other improvements by <br />contractors or trees or tree parts in excess of eighteen <br />(18) inches in diameter or in lengths in excess of three (3) <br />feet. It is understood that all of the above items assume <br />being reasonable quantities and properly bagged and/or tied. <br />
