RESOLUTION NO <br />RESOLUTION TO PROCEED WITH A CURBSIDE RECYCLING PROGRAM <br />FOR MOUNDS VIEW <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has determined that <br />alternative methods of solid waste abatement are necessary <br />for the region; and <br />WHEREAS, curbside recycling is seen es an integral E_rt <br />of a comprehensive solid waste program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View collects S <br />from each household for solid waste collection; and <br />WHEREAS, a portion of this noney is earmarked for a <br />curbside recycling program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View that staff should proceed with the <br />necessary steps to contract with a qualified hauler and <br />assist the hauler with publicity. <br />Adopted this day of <br />ATTEST: <br />Mayor <br />(SEAL) — <br />71erk-Administrator <br />
