TO: Clerk -Administrator <br />FROM: Police Chief <br />DATE: April 2, 1986 <br />RE: LIQUOR LICENSE FOR LOOSE ENDS <br />A thorough check was run on David Eugene Arone and Steven Matthew <br />Hauck. Neither party has d criminal history aid neither has a bad <br />driving record. Both men appear to be well organized and good <br />individuals. <br />Mr. Larry Rowles was contacted at Minneapolis Licenses and Consumer <br />Services. Mr. Rowles is a retired police officer now working as a <br />licensing inspector. He stated that he's never heard of any problems <br />at Arones Bar and that his contacts with David Arone nave never <br />involved any liquor violations. He states that Arones is a well <br />managed operation with a crowd mixture of young and old. Mr. Rowles <br />had no information on Steven Hauck. <br />Minneapolis Police Lieutenant Mike Fisher was contacted. Lieutenant <br />Fisher states that any liquor violation at bars require his attention <br />and he's never had a report on Arones Bar. He states that Arones <br />is a clean operation, a good neighborhood bar. <br />On March 27, 1986, Investigator Chambers did an inspect -on of the <br />Premises of Arones Bar. He noted customers from age nineteen to <br />ieareu yeiau,u. iic Lz=c: t`,t the "r vac a vary clean establishment, <br />quiet and well run. Investigator Chambers also cnecked with the <br />Northeast Bar Associzticn that stated Arones is a go)d, decent <br />bus'ness. <br />
