This joint powers <br />agreement would replace the one adopted June 12, 1978, copy attached... copy A. <br />The goal and the objectives of the joint efforts are: <br />GOAL - OVERALL: <br />TO DEVELOP AND EFFECTIVELY MAINTAIN THE MIDDLE SCHOOLS' OUTSIDE FACILITIES <br />(FIELDS, ETC.) FOR THE CONVENIENT USE OF THE SCHOOLS AND THE CITIES. <br />OBJECTIVES: <br />1 tr^ ^rovide Tftj7 ^rod out cities (field areas, etc.; ,vt use by <br />the -schools and>cties. <br />2. To jointly develop and maintain the sites at agreed to standards of <br />maintenance. <br />3. To cooperatively plan for the use, scheduling of the use, and main- <br />tenance of the outside facilities, thereby using the expertise from <br />two staffs which should bring about better communications and more <br />efficient operations of all parties, <br />4. To reduce the amount of duplication of proposed or existing facilities, <br />thereby reducing the costs of development and maintenance for both the <br />school district and the cities. <br />S. To jointly share in the maintenance costs by designating which party <br />will perform which tasks.
