In response to cost for providing portable facilities, the current rate <br />is $63.00 per month plus a one time charge of $24.00 for pick up and <br />delivery. Insurance options are also available at $5.00 per unit per month. <br />The cost for vault type toilets range from a low of $5,000. up to $15,000. <br />I have enclosed some promotional literature on two popular waterless systems. <br />Staff would recommend that satellite facilities be installed at the following <br />park sites: <br />b. Hillview <br />c. Lambert <br />e. Oakwood <br />f. Groveland <br />g. Edgewood <br />h. Pinewood <br />J. Red Oak <br />The units should be installed from May 15 - August 15 which is our peak period <br />of usage by the summer athletic programs. The cost for providing facilities would <br />be $1,701. for the three month rental charge, $216. for pick up and delivery and <br />$135. for insurance premiums making a total of $2,052. <br />It is staffs intention that the $2,000. expenditure is justifiable due to the <br />great number of usage our parks acquire during this time period.
