Times outs after <br />every score, out of bounds <br />and foul. The clock s' iris up <br />again (time in) when the <br />saucer comes back into the <br />field of play. Two 60 second <br />time outs per team per half. <br />OBJECT ......... Score points by throwing the saucer and having it come to rest in the basket of the Saucer Golf Hole. <br />Highest score wins. <br />SCORING ....... 2 points are scored on throws from the field or court. 1 point is scored for each free throw made. <br />PLAY ............ The 119G Frisbee disc is the official size and weight saucer to be used. Choice of either throw -off or <br />defending a hole is determined by a flip of the saucer. 'reams switch ends to start the second half and <br />the team that received the first hail throw off starts the second halt by throwing off. The play starts with <br />both teams on opposite end lines. One team throws the saucer at the Saucer Golf Hale, starting the <br />time clock, and play continues until a time out occurs. After each score from the field and the second <br />throw, if made, of a two free throw foul, the learn scored against starts play again by throwing the <br />saucer over their defensive end line. Out of bounds throws are brought back into theffeldof play at the <br />point where the saucer left the field of play. <br />RI IL -ES ........... A) Catching: Players may catch the saucer with one or Iwo hands or by trapping it against the body. <br />No catch is ruled if the saucer is touching the ground and complete control or possession is not present. <br />B) Throwing. The saucer may be thi own in any direction with the following restrictions: <br />1. Legal Flights: single skip and all other types of flights that do not touch the ground. <br />2. illegal Flights: any flights other than single skip that corn in contact with the ground. <br />C) Change of Possession: The saucer will automatically change possession under the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Incomplete throw: an illegal throw (see rule B.2.), a dropped throw between teammates, an <br />out of bounds throw, a throw intercepted by the opposition will result in a change of possession at <br />the point where the throw was incomplete. <br />2. 3 Step: the player in possession of the saucer may take up to 3 steps before having to stop and <br />establish a pivot foot. Once the pivot foot is established additional steps are not permitted and a <br />change of possession will occur if the pivot foot moves an additional step. <br />3. Out of Bounds: a throw that lands out of bounds or a player in possession of the saucer having <br />one foot on or outside the out of bounds line will result in a change of possession. <br />4. Goal Area: an offensive player(s) in the offivivive goal area will result in a change of possession. <br />5. Half Coed Line: the team in possession of the saucer has 10 seconds to move the saucer past <br />the center line and into the offensive zone, and the saucer must be kept in the offensive zone or a <br />change of possession will occur. <br />0) Fonhr: a foul by either team will result in a free throw(s) being taken. Fouls are called for the <br />following reasons: <br />1.BuayCutiifioica::: IwuuUalenl,oily, niW,tn(anyly;., echai . <br />free throws will be awarded the fouled player. <br />2.Goal Area: a defensive player is allowed in the defensive goal area only if the flying saucer has <br />come to rest on the ground. A one throw free throw will be awarded when a defensive player enters <br />the defensive goal area and the saucer has not come to rest in the goal area. <br />E) Free Thrown: a free throw is awarded when a foul occurs. Play stops immediately (time out) <br />when a foul is called. The free throw is taken from behind the center court line and all players, except <br />the thrower, line up on the end line where the free throw is being made. Players will line up on the end <br />bne in an alternate way, that is there will be a player from team A, a player from team B, a player from <br />team A, a player from team B, etc. The saucer is not in play after the first of a two free throw series. If <br />the free throw is not made the saucer belongs to the first player to gain possession after the miss. The <br />saucer must leave the hand of the player making the free throw before players on the end line can mow. <br />F) Simdtaneoos Possession: In the event of simultaneous possession by opposing player, the <br />saucer will be awarded to the offensive team. <br />
