Submit 35 copies of final comprehensive plan update to Park Commission - March 13, 1980 - Not started yei. In general, we are staying relatively close to our predetermined schedule. The major stumbling block we have experienced is the lack of contour maps showing the City's existing facilities. The City Council approved the Mark Hurd Aerial Survey Contract on Monday, February 11, 1980, which will enable us to continue as outlined; only I would project that we will be running approximately one month behind our initial schedule. Staff is now immersed in the survey process, which was commenced February 16, 1980. The process staff has adhered to is as follows: I. February 16, 1980 - Door to door disLribution of park surveys to area residents. 2. February 19, 20, and 21 - Door to door collection of surveys by area residents. 3. March 1, 1980 - Deadline for all surveys to be returned. 4. March 4-110 - Tabulation and final analysis of survey by Saunders and Thalden Associates, Inc. Mr. Gary Tushie, Associate, Saunders and Thalden will be on hand at the February 28, 1980 meeting to bring the Commission up to date on the details of our progress to date. I have enclosed copies of the survey and envelopes for your personal records. In addition staff will provide the Commission with a brief update as to survey results we have tabulated to date.
