The object of Saucer Golf <br />is to complete the course in as few throws as possible. Count one point each <br />time a penalty is assessed and each time the flying saucer is thrown. <br />TEE THROWS ................. When starting play on a Saucer Golf hole the player must release the saucer <br />between, behind, and not more than 2 meters behind the starting markers. A <br />penalty is assessed if the throw is not made within the boundaries described. <br />PUTT THROWS ............... When throwing the saucer within 8 meters of the Saucer Golf hole the player <br />must have one foot (plant -foot) resting on the location where the previous <br />throw came to rest while placing the other foot no closer than the plant <br />foot. The player is not permitted, under penalty of one point, to move either <br />foot closer to the hole until the saucer hits or goes beyond the hole. <br />ALL OTHER THROWS ........ The player must establish foot placement per the putting rule, but, the feet <br />can move closer to the hole after release of the saucer. <br />'J <br />UNPL.AYASM L.IE ............ A saucer resting more than 1 meter above the ground is ruled unplayable and <br />a penalty assessed. After an unplayable lie is ruled, the player establishes the <br />plant foot on the ground directly beneath where the unplayable lie occurred. <br />NOTE: A saucer resting less than one meter above the ground is playable <br />and the plant foot must rest at the point where the previous throw carve <br />to rest. <br />om OF sOUNDS ............ Public roads, private property, andwater hazards (except casual water) are <br />HAZA 8 are out of bounds and a penalty is assessed when a saucer comes to rest in <br />the out of bounds area. The saucer is brought back into play wham it first <br />went out of bounds. <br />ETNp JEM ................... The player farthem from the Saucer Golf hole always throws first in a group, <br />raDrtiess of score. <br />Do not disturb other players when they are throwing. <br />Do not throw until the players around you are out of range. <br />Yad "FORE" it your throw is going to come now or hit another player. <br />f <br />LpC/%, K)M ................ Local conditions may enlarge the scope of the out of bounds and hazards <br />rule as well as other aspects of play on the course. Local rules should be <br />posted at the firm tee. <br />
