The bail <br />fields need to be regraded o+ to be resituated. The hockey rinks need yrading, new and <br />better lighting and new boards. Our "shacks" have to 6e replaced with new structures <br />reasonably priced and strongly built). The swings and slides (play apparetus) need to <br />be replaced and / or added to. Plantings need to be put in for "buffer zones" and for <br />attractiveness. There is need for a major park south of Highway 10 for residents in <br />that area. Both tennis courts and a football area are proposed for Greenfield Park. <br />We have "made do" wi[h our existing parks but a growing community <br />needs growing parks. <br />Plans for extensive improvement of Mounds View's parks have been <br />approved by the Village Council, the Planning Commission and the Park Recreation <br />Committee. Now it is up to you to approve of the plans to develop Mounds View's <br />parks in order to give the community: <br />1. Improved children's play areas, <br />2. Pleaunt areas for recreation, <br />3. Facilities for adult activities, <br />4. Increased property values and - <br />5.
