As I will be mailing my first packet: <br />of information out to the prospective members tomorrow and I have - <br />scheduled our first meeting for Thursday, September 11, 1980. . <br />To insure that we have a clear understanding as to the role of the <br />Citizens group I propose the following timeline and work program <br />be used as a guideline. <br />TIME LINE FOR CITIZENS TASK FORCE <br />September 11, 1980 - Review proposed park referendum material and <br />discuss preliminary strategy: <br />a. Leaflet <br />b. Coffee Parties <br />c. Telephone campaign <br />d. Newspaper articles - . <br />e. Letters to the Editor <br />f. Lawn S ign program <br />g. Door knocking <br />h. Supporters list, i.e. Athletic Association,.,.. <br />prominent residents . <br />i. Park tours, etc. . <br />September 25, 1980 - 1. Rough raft copy oP leaflet ready for reviei <br />2. Coffee party dates set .. <br />3. Lawn sign canvasing program <br />4. Neighborhood representatives selected . <br />October 4- 11, ].980 - Distribute flyers door to door and install .- <br />lawn signs and posters in businesses. . " <br />October 11, 1980 - Pirst Public Hearing, Mounds View City Hall lOs DO; <br />October 14, 1980 - League of Women Vot.ers Public Hearing
