How can we work together in each area of the state <br />to ensure wise investments are made7 How tan opportuni#ies for <br />local initiative be encouraged? How do we maintain and,improve <br />our existing comnunity facilities, meet our housing needs,'and <br />provide energy supplies for a11 our necessary activities? <br />These and many similar questions went through my mind as I <br />prepared the Community Development Statement for the legislature. <br />In order to obtain a broader ranqe of opinions and ideas, I have <br />scheduled six canmunity development forums in different parts'of <br />the state.
