The :ntent of this group would <br />be to review the City of Mounds View's existing youth athletie <br />programs as well as in the school district to determine how <br />well the current needs of our youYh are being met. <br />Specific areas that could be ez lar d are: <br />1. I'hilosophy <br />2. Rule interpretation <br />3. Season overlapping <br />4. Existing youth athletic associations <br />5. Gxisting City-wide programs <br />6. Areas of deficienci.es, girls programming, <br />teenagers, senior citize s, etc. <br />7. Overlapping of seasons . <br />8. Possible future coordination <br />9. Volunteer coaches clinics; certification, <br />etc. <br />7'I is is strictly in a Lormulative state but one thought is to have <br />a task force created consisting of: <br />1. A park commissioner From each communi.ty (4 people) <br />2. A staff representative from each park dept. (4 people) <br />3. A stafF representative from school district (1 person) <br />4, A school board member (1 person) <br />S.
