MINN. 55112 <br />7 843055 <br />Dear Parks and Recreation Commissioners: <br />This is just a short note to remind you of our scheduled Park Commission <br />meeting on Thursday, January 8, 1981 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council <br />Chambers. <br />The intent of the meeting is to review the park development proposals for <br />Silver View Park which are due for submission tomorrow. <br />I have enclosea copies of the two proposals we have received to date plus <br />a copy of the initial specifications prepared by Staff. <br />We have requested proposals from seven firms: <br />a. Saunders/Thalden and Associates <br />b. Design Consortium Inc. <br />c. Bre,uer and Associates <br />d. Earth Plus <br />e. Sanders and Associates <br />f. Derek Young Inc. <br />g. Jon Born Consulting Firm <br />The intent of Thursdays meeting is to review the material and proposals to <br />narrow the final selection down to three firms for a formal interview the <br />following Thursday. <br />To better assist with your review the City has approximately $6,500.00 for the <br />initial design phase of this project through the L.A.W.C.O.N. grants. <br />Staff will be forwarding copies of the additional five proposals tomorrow <br />evening._ Should you fiav4 any questions prior to Thursdays meeting, feel free <br />tLirre-la I V 784-30553, extension 41. <br />Y. <br />Director <br />Parks, Recreation and Forestry <br />BKA/sw <br />
