January 22, 1981 <br />RE: Silver View Park/Consultant Selection <br />The Mounds View Parks and Recreation Commission has been actively involved in <br />the interview and selection process of hiring a consultant for the development <br />of a Master Plan for Silver View Park during the past two months. <br />The process .began in December, 1979 when they directed staff to prepare bid <br />specifications and to conduct preliminary interviews of twelve consulting firms. <br />This process was begun immediately and staff presented the Commission with seven <br />firms whom were qualified to complete the project. <br />The request for proposal was then mailed out to seven firms in December with a <br />requested deadline of January 7, 1981.
