His 18 years of experience includes <br />resource analysis, site development, public participation programming, master <br />planning, landscape, interpretive and environmental design projects. His design <br />includes specialized work on golf courses, nature centers, recreation, camp and resort <br />facilities. He has earned and enjoys a national reputation as an imaginative, yet <br />realistic designer and land planner. <br />With Brauer & Associates Ltd., Inc. since 1962, representative projects where <br />Mr. Fjare has served as project manager or chief designer include: <br />Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, Hennepin County Park Reserve District <br />Taft and Donald Parks, City of Richfield, Minnesota <br />Mankato State University Arboretum, State of Minnesota <br />Brooklyn Center Arboretum, Brooklyn renter, Minnesota <br />Elm Creek Park Reserve, Hennepin County Park Reserve District <br />Augsburg Park, City of Richfield <br />- Hibbing Athletic Field, Joint Recreation ar.l Park Board <br />- North Park, City of Moorhead <br />- Castle Green, City of Thunder Bay, Ontario <br />- Koch Residence, Buffalo, Minnesota, Mr. & Mrs. David Koch <br />- Beebe Lake Park, Wright County <br />Mr. Fjare holds membership in several civic and professional organizations. He is on <br />the National Safety Board and the National Standards Committee for the American <br />Camping Association (ACA). He is a recipient of the Sue Tinker Award for distin- <br />guished service to camping, an award presented by the Minnesota Section of ACA. He <br />also has received a Distinguished Service Award for more than 10 years service as a <br />Scoutmaster, Boy Scouts of America. <br />As President of Brauer & Associates Ltd., he guides the planning and design efforts <br />for over 100 company projects each year. <br />
