Report of <br />in the lack of interest by the citizens Council - <br />in attending agenda sessions ano the fact members <br />that so much discussion goes on at them that <br />the public is then not aware of. She suggested <br />possibly combining the agenda sessions into the <br />regular meetings, which are better attended and <br />have formal minutes taken. <br />Councilmember Haake also asked for the status <br />and outcome of the City's neeting with MAC the <br />previous week. <br />Mayor Links stated the City was successful in <br />meeting with MAC end getting them to agree to <br />consider moving the north/south runway 2,500 feet <br />to the north and removing an equal amount of <br />existing pavement from the south end. He stated <br />it is contingent upon the environmental impact <br />statement (EIS), and the City's acceptance of that. <br />He added that the City has since requested they <br />amend the EIS to look at moving the runway 2500' to <br />the north. <br />Attorney Meyers stated they have approached MAC on <br />the segmented EIS issue in the past, and the City <br />has consultants prepared to study MAC's proposal., once <br />it is received. He added it is not necessary to do the <br />entire Master Plan over. <br />J <br />
